DosCasas Productions  

DosCasas Productions began some 17 years ago when Cyd and Curtis first met in Nebraska. Since then they have been friends, spouses, back to friends, and for the past eight years, creative partners.

Cyd and Curtis have written a number of plays and screenplays. Curtis is based in New Orleans, Cyd in London, but they continue to work collaboratively via the wonders of modern technology.

Currently Keeping Us Busy... 

Curtis and Cyd are currently working on a couple of feature comedy scripts and have just finished  a first draft of Ex-mas.

Curtis has started on a new project. A conceptual photography exhibit, he will use only his iPhone camera and the basic photo editing software on his computer to create a series of art photographs. “We’ve reached an ultimate level in ‘do it yourself’ and I want to explore that with this project,” says Curtis.  Check back for location and dates of exhibit.

Cyd Casados 

Cyd first got involved in film and theater as an actor. After a stint in several low budget horror films, she discovered she enjoyed writing more than acting.  Cyd made her writing debut in New Orleans with her one-woman show, Still Life at the Sushi Bar, which was called a “convincing, entertaining, balanced piece of writing” by the Times Picayune.

Cyd received her M.A. in Communications from Georgia State University and her B.A. in Broadcast Journalism from University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She currently works as a copywriter for a private  London hospital.

Curtis Casados

Curtis has been an artist for over twenty-five years, doing both fine art and graphic arts, working under the name Mayan Eye Graphics. In addition to painting, he’s done artwork for several bands, including CD covers for the award-winning New Orleans Jazz Vipers and jazz guitarist David Mooney.  He’s currently working on a novel, a collection of short stories, and a postcard book.
